Our mission

CREW Silicon Valley is dedicated to influencing the success of the commercial real estate industry by advancing the achievements of women.

Our history

CREW Silicon Valley was started in 1981 by five women in commercial property management to address the need for a women’s organization focused on networking. The original name of the organization was South Bay Property Manager’s Association. As the organization grew and members of other real estate disciplines joined, the organization changed its name to South Bay Association of Women in Commercial Real Estate, which was later changed to Association of Women in Commercial Real Estate, which begot CREW San Jose, which begot CREW Silicon Valley. CREW Silicon Valley joined CREW Network in 1994.
