Vice President with Transwestern & CREW Silicon Valley Chapter President Honored

(March 7, 2017 –San Jose, California) – Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Silicon Valley is proud to announce that Anna Mcquillan Rose, the chapter’s current President,was awarded with the Chapter MVP Award at The Registry’s annual Elevate Event on Thursday, March 2nd, 2017.

“My professional success is a direct result of my association with CREW on a local and national level,” says Mcquillan-Rose. “As we start the year, I am excited to continue the work of our past presidents,generating greater ties within the CREW Network and reinvesting in our members.One way we’ll be reinvesting in our members is to focus back on the power of networking. We’ve implemented programs that get back to the roots: business to business development, acknowledging member advancements, awards won, utilizing our Media partners more effectively to highlight our member successes.”

The Registry’s annual Elevate Event honors diversity and women’s leadership in commercial real estate. The Chapter MVP Award is awarded to one person from each Bay Area CREW Chapter who demonstrates passion, commitment, and involvement in his/her chapter.  The honoree must be exemplary in his/her commitment to his/her local CREW chapter, CREW Network and/or CREW Network Foundation; they must be dedicated to the fulfillment of the CREW mission,demonstrating service through committee involvement, member and sponsor recruitment and/or member-to-member referrals; and they must be a person of honor and integrity who is a leader among leaders within the commercial real estate industry as well as within CREW.

“Anna is the true embodiment of what CREW stands for,”says Kimberly Taylor, CREW Silicon Valley’s current President-Elect and Director of Marketing & Business Development with Arborwell.  “As a chapter board, we were honored to vote Anna as our 2017 Chapter MVP.”

Out of her 17-year career, Mcquillan-Rose has spent the past four years as Vice President of the brokerage division at Transwestern's Silicon Valley office, where she specializes in the sales and leasing of office and research and development space.  She has earned the top producer award the last two years for the Silicon Valley office.  In addition to her CREW involvement, she serves on the Board of Directors for the Building Owners and Managers Association’s Silicon Valley chapter and was the 2015 president.
